The jewel in the crown of the Yarra Valley, one of Victoria’s premier tourist destinations, must surely be Domaine Chandon’s Green Point vineyard. Domaine Chandon has been inducted into the Victorian Tourism Hall of Fame having won the Winery Tourism category three times.
When next you visit, try the
Green Point Reserve Chardonnay 2004. Sourced from the best Yarra Valley vineyards, the winemaking team reserve the finest barrels of Chardonnay for this blend. A vibrant pale straw with a green hue, the wine has a fragrant aroma of white peach, lemon butter and honeydew. On the palate, lemon, grapefruit and white peach flavours provide a racy, fresh entry before leading to a creamy and smooth mid palate. Perfect with grilled lobster medallions with ruby grapefruit, and lime and melon mayonnaise.

Look out across the vineyards and enjoy a complimentary platter of exceptional regional produce, with a glass of either sparkling or still wine purchased in the Green Point Room. The complimentary platter consists of Ciabatta bread, gourmet cheese and a variety of delicious chutneys. The recently introduced Light Lunches offer visitors a variety of dishes designed to complement the wines.
Experience the winery, the bottling line and the riddling hall, each location explained by informative notes and stunning photography. Whether or not you choose to be accompanied by a guide, you will find it to be a fascinating insight into the world of sparkling and still wine production.
For our international visitors tour notes are available in French, German, Japanese and Cantonese, as well as English. The tour concludes in the Green Point Room, where our premium sparkling and still wines are available by the glass.
Guided tours are conducted three times daily, at 11am, 1pm and 3pm. They run for 30 minutes and are free of charge. There is no need to book for the tours.
